SPACE TO REST & REFLECT

Plan the pause.
Prepare the return.

A sabbatical takes more than clearing the calendar. Make room for rest, connection with God, and time with the people you love—and think through the responsibilities you’ll hand off and return to.

I bring over two decades of ministry experience and the perspective of a pastor to these conversations. Together, we’ll shape a plan around your life, family, and church.

THE SIX-SESSION PATHWAY

Before. During. After.

The full package follows your sabbatical from planning to re-entry. We’ll schedule the sessions around your dates.

Before · 2 sessions

Clarify the purpose, build a realistic plan, prepare your family, and work through the handoff with your church.

During · 2 sessions

Make room to reflect on rest, your relationship with God, and what you’re learning as you step back.

After · 2 sessions

Reflect on your sabbatical and prepare a healthy return. One session includes your elders to discuss re-entry and next steps.

Can coaching focus on what I need most?

Yes. We’ll agree on your goals and focus before starting. You can choose a single session or a package, and additional sessions are $135 each.

How do I get started?

Request a free 30-minute consultation and share a little about your situation. It’s a chance to discuss your needs and the coaching options before choosing a plan.

When should we begin?

Ideally while you’re planning the break, so there is time to agree its purpose and prepare the team handoff. If your sabbatical is already underway, we can discuss a useful starting point.

Can my elders or spouse participate?

The full package includes one return session with your elders. We can also discuss whether involving your spouse in a planning conversation would serve the goals of the break.

Who sets my church’s sabbatical policy?

Your church and elders decide the leave arrangement and policy. Coaching helps you plan and reflect within that agreement; it does not grant leave or replace your church’s decisions.
